New to bodyweight training? Do you find easier gym than calisthenics exercises?
Bodyweight training and calisthenics are based on more natural movements than weight training, but, when it comes to understanding how to train specific muscles, most people cannot figure out how calisthenics works. On the contrary, weight exercises result familiar after years training in the gym. The following videos show alternative exercises using weights and calisthenics:
Obviously alternative exercises do not correspond exactly but will provide a guide to practitioners new to calisthenics and bodyweight training with weight lifting experience. Be aware that calisthenics exercises are generally more difficulty than the corresponding gym exercises, so use these relations just to gain a better understanding of calisthenics.
